Vốn đầu tư nước ngoài đổ về Đồng Nai gần 33 tỷ USD
Theo Sở Kế hoạch và Đầu tư tỉnh Đồng Nai, tính đến cuối tháng 3/2022, đã có hơn 40 quốc gia, vùng lãnh thổ đầu tư trực tiếp vào tỉnh này với tổng số vốn đạt 33 tỷ USD, tạo động lực tăng trưởng và thu nhập ổn định cho gần 500.000 người lao động.
5 quốc gia, vùng lãnh thổ đầu tư lớn nhất vào Đồng Nai là Hàn Quốc, Nhật Bản, Đài Loan (Trung Quốc), Singapore và Trung Quốc.
Tổng số vốn doanh nghiệp Hàn Quốc đã đầu tư vào Đồng Nai là gần 7 tỷ USD, đa số trong lĩnh vực công nghiệp, với các ngành như: linh kiện điện tử, nguyên phụ liệu cho ngành dệt may, máy móc thiết bị và dụng cụ phụ tùng, giày dép. Tiếp đó là Nhật Bản với hơn 5 tỷ USD, chủ yếu tập trung vào sản xuất công nghiệp hỗ trợ cho ngành cơ khí chế tạo, phương tiện vận tải và phụ tùng, máy tính, linh kiện điện tử.

Đồng Nai hiện xếp thứ 4 cả nước về thu hút vốn đầu tư nước ngoài với 1,8 nghìn dự án, trong đó có các thương hiệu lớn trên thế giới như: Kao, Samsung, Nestlé, Kolon, Chrysler, C.P., Cargill, Amata, Hyosung, Formosa, Lixil, Phong Thái, Shingmark, Meggitt, Schaeffler, Changshin, Taekwang, Sojitz, Forval, Bosch…
Những doanh nghiệp có vốn đầu tư nước ngoài đã có đóng góp lớn vào thu ngân sách nhà nước, xuất khẩu, xuất siêu, thu nhập bình quân đầu người của tỉnh Đồng Nai. Trong tổng kim ngạch xuất khẩu của Đồng Nai, khoảng 75% là của doanh nghiệp đầu tư nước ngoài.
Trong gần 4 năm nay, thu hút đầu tư FDI vào Đồng Nai luôn vượt kế hoạch năm mặc dù gặp một số trở ngại là thiếu đất công nghiệp diện tích lớn, ảnh hưởng của dịch bệnh. Năm 2018, tỉnh thu hút vốn FDI hơn 1,9 tỷ USD, vượt kế hoạch năm 90%; năm 2019 là 2,3 tỷ USD, vượt kế hoạch năm 130%; năm 2020 khoảng 1,45 tỷ USD, vượt 45% và 8 tháng của năm 2021 đạt hơn 910 triệu USD, vượt 32%.
Trong 3 tháng đầu năm 2022, Đồng Nai đã xuất khẩu hơn 6,2 tỷ USD thì gần 4,7 tỷ USD của doanh nghiệp nước ngoài. Đồng thời, trong 3 tháng đầu năm nay, Đồng Nai xuất siêu hơn 1,5 tỷ USD, riêng doanh nghiệp nước ngoài là 1,1 tỷ USD.
